Resize Partition of Window 7, 8, Window Server 2008 Manually

Shrink Volume means that creating the new Volume from Volume that has free space.

Window 7, 8, Window Server 2008 has the ability to resize the partition it is installed on.
The Way to Shrink is the same for Window 7, 8, Window Server 2008 so I show you only Window 7 as the sample.

Open Disk Management

It is located at Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management.
Get there by:
1. Start Button ->  Right Click On Computer -> Manage
2. Click on Disk Management
3.  Right Click on Local Disk from which You want to resize

4. Enter the amount of space(Amount of New Space) to shrink in Mb (1Gb=1024Mb) -> Click Shrink


5. unallocate drive is created
6. Right Click on unallocated drive(8.45 GB) ->New Simple Volume
 7. Click New ->New..
8.Click Fish
